Job summary

CityServiceValcon, LCC is seeking a Fuel/Propane Driver in Old Town, ID to safely deliver Bulk Fuel and Propane and provide excellent customer service. You will operate delivery trucks, maintain accurate logs, and uphold safety and professional image as part of the team.

The role requires a current CDL with hazmat, tanker, and airbrake endorsements, a medical card, and the ability to pass background checks, with on-call rotation after training.

Qualifications

• Current CDL with hazmat, tanker, and airbrake endorsements or the ability to obtain.
• Current Medical Driver Certification card.
• Must pass a drug test, reference check, background check and motor vehicle records check before hire when driving hazardous materials.
• Must comply with DOT safety regulations.
• Able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule after training.
• Knowledge in the fuel and oil industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer product for quality control and product integrity.
• Operate delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate other equipment such as boom trucks as required.
• Complete customer sales orders accurately and legibly.
• Maintain high standards of courtesy and professional image.
• Keep trucks and equipment clean and well maintained.
• Arrange for routine truck maintenance.
• Complete driver logs, pre- and post-trip forms, invoices and other paperwork.
