Phoenix Home Care and Hospice in Springfield, MO is seeking a dedicated Caregiver for a full-time position. The role focuses on one-on-one client care with guaranteed hours and consistent weekly pay, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Expected duties include assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and supporting clients with higher acuity needs. Mileage between clients is tracked, and PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be available 8 AM-4 PM every weekday.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to drive to multiple clients with 2-3 hour shifts.
• Must track mileage between clients.
• Dependable and compassionate.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 50 LBS.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, Dressing, Grooming).
• Provide Companionship and Emotional Support.
• Support Clients with Higher Acuity Needs, Including: Transfers, Feeding, Monitoring Changes in Condition.
• Light Housekeeping.
• Medication Reminders.
• Running errands.
