Job summary

Premise Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a full-time Physician to provide primary care to employees and their dependents across all ages in our health center. The role includes performing histories and physicals, prescribing treatments, and developing care plans in a patient-centered environment.

You'll collaborate with teams across occupational and preventive health services, maintain electronic medical records, and participate in health program administration.

Qualifications

• Active medical licenses to practice in your state
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice)
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required
• Current board certification (ABMS, AMA or AOA)
• Medical degree required
• CPR certification with hands-on evaluation per AHA standards
• At least three years of post-residency clinical experience
• Experience in primary, urgent care or emergency department settings

Responsibilities

• Provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients
• May provide occupational health services as needed in some centers
• Perform histories, physical exams, and prescribe medications based on best practices
• Develop treatment plans with patients and educate on medical issues
• Provide referrals to appropriate medical resources or specialties
• Evaluate care effectiveness and monitor patient progress
• Identify emergencies and provide care within scope and Premise Health privileging
• Assist in setting annual health center goals and maintain medical records
• May administer health programs as needed
• Support health center leadership in patient care in their absence
