Pitney Bowes is hiring a Presort Associate 1 for the Levittown, PA facility. The position is full-time on first shift, with training provided and a starting wage of $15.25 per hour. You will prepare outgoing mail, verify postage and barcodes, and ensure items meet quality and SLA requirements.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, good English comprehension, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Overtime may be required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail by reviewing date, postage, and barcodes.
• Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes found in mail/packages.
• Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machine.
• Monitor the quality of mail/packages prior to processing and before dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels and matching bin numbers on machines to tray numbers.
• Follow QMS practices to assure quality of output (date, weight, thickness, barcodes, etc.).
• Assure sorter equipment and other equipment used are running properly.
• Assist with inbound and outbound processing of mail/packages.
• Remain informed of acceptance times and when trucks must leave.
• Ensure mail/packages meet SLAs.
