Job summary

CDS Preschools in Gray, Maine is seeking Educational Technicians to teach and support children ages 3-5 with disabilities, preparing them for Kindergarten and beyond. Full-time positions are available at our CDS Circle of Learning preschool in Gray, with Ed Tech I–III salary ranges and a comprehensive benefits package.

Candidates must hold a current Educational Technician certification and pass a criminal history check.

Qualifications

• Current Educational Technician certification per Maine standards.
• Criminal history check and background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise small groups of students in center-based programs.
• Conduct one-on-one or small groups with indirect supervision.
• Introduce learning pre-planned with Preschool Teacher of Children with Disabilities.
• Review and reinforce previously introduced learning.
• Assist in classroom materials and management.
• Model positive language and behavior for children and families.
• Provide input to observation and assessment records.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and employee information.
