Job summary

Pinnacle Living is seeking a Prep Cook for Hermitage Richmond. You will prepare entrees, soups, vegetables, and salads according to recipes, maintain sanitation, and assist in daily kitchen operations to support meals for independent living, assisted living, and healthcare services.

Responsibilities include batch cooking, line setup, and assisting in ordering and inventory while ensuring resident satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year of food production experience preferred.
• No certification or licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items following production sheets and standardized recipes.
• Maintains high standards of quality and portion control in food preparation.
• Sets up serving lines in accordance with menus and procedures.
• Maintains proper food storage with labeling and dating of items.
• Reviews menus and discusses changes with the Chef/Sous Chef.
