Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps over 6 months in the past 36 months.
• Relocation/rehire rules may apply; willingness to follow biosecurity and animal welfare guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Attend to and care for birds in grow out houses; inspect birds for quality and progress (25%).
• Drive farm truck to feeder houses; load birds and place in pens (25%).
• Calculate pen size based on bird numbers; manage floor and housing conditions (15%).
• Sort birds by breast size and collect weekly samples for corporate lab (25%).
• Vaccinate or isolate birds as needed and assist with disease control measures (10%).
