Job summary

Castle of Downers Grove is seeking a Full-Time Porter to join our dealership team. You will help maintain vehicle appearance, move cars, tag inventory, and support daily operations. This is an excellent entry point into the automotive industry with room to grow.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a positive, customer-focused attitude. Experience in dealership operations is a plus, and compensation ranges from $15 to $20 per hour,

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory appearance by cleaning vehicles, replenishing fluids, and replacing batteries as needed.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep lots neat and orderly and move cars as directed by management.
• Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed.
• Make key tags and handle vehicle inventory.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Full-Time Porter Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed
• Make key tags for and handle the inventory of vehicles
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Full-Time Porter Qualifications

• Ability to work assigned hours
• Knowledge of automotive dealership operations is a plus
• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality, eagerness to improve High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
• Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
