Job summary

Hamilton Arms Center is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a full-time position in Lancaster, PA. You will assist in planning, delivering, and coordinating physical therapy services under the guidance of a licensed PT, ensuring high-quality resident care.

Qualified candidates hold PTA accreditation with state licensure and have at least two years of experience in hospital or skilled nursing settings, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program and must have a valid state license.
• Two years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or related medical facility; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and delivering Physical Therapy Services according to plans and standards.
• Provide individual therapy services to residents per care plans and assist in assessments.
• Develop therapy plans with MDS and adjust plans as needed; coordinate appointments and discharge planning.
• Maintain safety standards and equipment; participate in resident care planning and documentation.
