Job summary

Parham Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist licensed in Virginia or pursuing licensure. You’ll work with a skilled rehab team in a state-of-the-art gym, evaluating residents and creating treatment plans to help return home with independence and confidence.

The role includes discharge planning, documenting evaluations and charges, and supervising PTAs and aides, with opportunities in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Virginia Physical Therapist or graduate from an approved Physical Therapist program actively pursuing licensure.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, develops treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician.
• Treats residents according to the physician's treatment plan and participates in discharge planning.
• Records evaluation, treatment, and charges; supervises PTAs and Aides; screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.
