Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Active Kentucky PTA license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions as directed by the PT.
• Support patient mobility, strength, balance and overall function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to the PT.
• Maintain documentation of patient care and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to achieve outcomes.
• Follow clinical, safety, and documentation standards.
