Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and pertinent activities, ensuring effective technique and safety practices to promote pain relief and optimal recovery.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise regimens to facilitate continued recovery outside therapy sessions.
• Administer modalities like electrical stimulation and ultrasound under the watchful eye of the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document and monitor patient progress, specifically noting range of motion, strength improvements, and functional milestones.
• Prepare therapy areas, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and readily available for effective treatment sessions.
• Collaborate actively within an interdisciplinary team to consistently refine and enhance patient care strategies.
• Offer emotional support and motivation to patients, fostering a welcoming and encouraging environment throughout their rehabilitation experience.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and dignity at all times.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
