UCP Oregon is seeking a full-time Personal Assistant to support a woman with developmental disabilities in SE Portland. You will help with daily living, accompany outings, and provide emotional support and companionship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Pass pre-hiring screenings including reference check, a physical with lifting test of 50 lbs, and a criminal background check.
• Drivers strongly preferred: 18+ with a valid license, 2 years driving experience, clean record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene tasks.
• Administer medications and assist in ADLs (showering, dressing, eating).
• Cook meals and tidy the apartment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; help manage emotions.
• Occasionally check on client during the night to aid calming activities.
• Assist in transportation using the UCP accessible van or TriMet Lift for outings.
