Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a team member to provide quality customer service in the Perishable Department. You will help maintain standards, ensure proper display and stock of meat, dairy, and other perishables, and support store operations with safe, efficient service.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, rotating stock, using inventory tools, and upholding Food Lion safety and dress code requirements. A strong focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Understand and use store tools such as ACIS and CAO where applicable.
• Receive deliveries, code, rotate, and store merchandise accordingly.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, preparation and displaying of perishable items.
• Maintain proper product levels in meat, dairy, frozen, and related sections.
• Wrap, label, weigh, and stock meat products as needed.
• Clean and sanitize the department; follow safety guidelines.
