Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics is seeking full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to two years. Appointees will provide primary pediatric care with strong clinical and communication skills, and may be based at Comer Children's Hospital and the UChicago Flossmoor Clinics.

These positions involve direct patient care with generally healthy to complex pediatric cases; off-hours and occasional weekend coverage are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
• Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics.
• Strong primary care skills and excellent communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care for general and complex pediatric needs.
• Limited off-hours and occasional weekend coverage expected.
• Primary placement at Comer Children's Hospital and UChicago Flossmoor Clinics, with possible other locations.
• Teaching or scholarly activity is not required.
