Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hospital Medicine, seeks Clinical Associates at full-time effort for a renewable term of up to two years to join our expanding Pediatric Hospital Medicine group. Clinical responsibilities will include pediatric medicine, newborn care, and ED consultation.

Appointees may have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement efforts in the Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical doctorate.
• Current or eligible medical license in Illinois.
• Board certification or eligible in General Pediatrics.
• Completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric medicine and newborn care.
• Offer ED consultation services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to patient- and family-centered care.

Education
