Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for a Full Time Patient Dining Associate at LCMC-East Jefferson, 4200 Houma Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006. The role supports patient dining, menu selection, tray assembly, and timely delivery to patients.

The position requires English literacy, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Schedule is Monday–Friday with some weekends; fixed pay rate is $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• English reading, writing and comprehension required.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing on nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s order and deliver on time.
• Retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Adhere to HIPAA and health regulations; follow HACCP guidelines.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed.
• Communicate issues to appropriate staff promptly.
