Join us for the Full-Time Patient Care Technician, Senior role at UPMC Passavant.

Position Details:

• Location: McCandless
• Support: Resource Pool
• Work Schedule: Three 12-hour rotating shifts per week, including day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Compensation: Title and salary based on education and experience; additional 10% resource bonus for resource pool members

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to call lights and telephones
• Passing meal trays and transporting patients
• Performing core nursing assistant duties such as ADLs, point of care testing, vital signs, telemetry, dressings, restraints, EKG, bladder scans, specimen collection, IV and Foley catheter removal
• Communicating effectively with the healthcare team
• Supporting patient safety and reporting equipment issues
• Assisting with therapies and providing patient and family instruction under RN supervision
• Participating in self-review, projects, and department improvements
• Adhering to policies, safety procedures, and documentation standards

Qualifications:

• Prior patient care experience preferred
