Capital Health in New Jersey seeks a Nursing Assistant to support patient care, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and aid the nursing team on a 40-hour work week. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, at least six months of Nursing Assistant/Health Aid experience or current enrollment in an LPN/RN program, and completion of the Capital Health UAP Training within 90 days of employment.

• Experience: Six months Nursing Assistant/Health Aid experience or currently enrolled in LPN/RN nursing program preferred.
• Credentials: AHA Heartsaver AED.
• Training: Capital Health UAP Training program within 90 days of employment.
• Usual Work Day: 8 Hours

Responsabilidades

• Performs supportive patient care duties including ADLs, patient hygiene, vital signs, obtaining weights, emptying and documenting of intake and output, phlebotomy and glucometer testing, EKGs, positioning, lifting and ambulation of patients.
• Performs transports as requested (patients, medications, supplies and specimens).
• Documents observations and activities on appropriate records; reports findings to the registered nurse.
