Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to perform supportive patient care duties in a dynamic hospital setting in Hopewell, NJ. The role involves assisting with ADLs, vital signs, phlebotomy and EKGs, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient observations for the supervising nurse.

Eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and retirement plans. The position is full-time with a 1.0 FTE basis and a stated pay range above the standard minimum.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English, verbal and written communication.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience as Nursing Assistant/Health Aid or enrolled in LPN/RN program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs supportive patient care duties including ADLs, vital signs, phlebotomy and EKG testing, and patient hygiene.
• Transports patients, medications, supplies and specimens as requested.
• Documents observations and activities and reports findings to the registered nurse.
