Job summary

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is hiring a full-time Patient Care Associate to support nurses and physicians in providing HBO therapy in the hyperbaric unit. The role involves daily living assistance, vital sign checks, and documentation in the EMR.

The position offers a $750 sign‑on bonus for eligible new hires, 36 hours per week, Mon–Fri 7:00am–3:30pm, onsite, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, shift differentials, PTO, MBTA pass discounts, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
• Licenses: BLS, CMA, Nursing Assistant/National Certification

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs within required time frames.
• Completes all documentation in the medical record.
• Interacts with patients and families effectively.
• Assists with activities of daily living and basic hygiene tasks.
• Helps patients turn and reposition in bed and assist with mobility if needed.
