Job summary

Mountain Manor is expanding its in-house rehab team and seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering patient-centered care. This role offers hands-on therapy, collaborative multidisciplinary work, and a stable in-house environment for clinicians tired of contract work.

You'll assist with treatment plans for geriatric and post-acute patients, document progress, educate families, and help maintain a safe, well-equipped therapy gym.

Qualifications

• PTA license is required.
• Experience with geriatric and post-acute populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises and modalities, to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with medical regulations.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff by adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices.
• A devout love for working with geriatric and post-acute populations.
