Job summary

O'Connor Woodscampus is expanding its in-house rehab team and seeks dedicated therapists passionate about patient-centered care. You will work in a collaborative setting with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for geriatric and post-acute patients.

In-house program offers mentorship, reasonable productivity, and flexible hours, with in-person duties. As a PTA, you will support licensed therapists, implement treatment plans, educate families, and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications

• PTA license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises and modalities, to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with medical regulations.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff by adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices.
