Jovie is seeking a Back-up Nanny to provide in-home childcare with a flexible on-call schedule. This role supports families needing care for infants to toddlers and emphasizes safety and engaging, age-appropriate activities.

You will not be responsible for transporting children and must be 18+ with reliable transportation. Paid training, a nanny kit, and opportunities for advancement are offered along with paid sick time and various benefits for full- and part-time schedules.

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean‑up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands‑on activities based on your observations of the children’s age‑appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $20 per hour - $22 per hour per hour
• Receive paid training and a nanny kit filled with age‑appropriate activities and games that you will bring to childcare assignments

About You

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
• Reliable transportation
• Your willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
• You are available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
• Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor and a bright smile to greet each family!
