Job summary

Jovie is seeking a Back-up Nanny to care for children in-home, with no required transporting, and no heavy household duties beyond basic cleanup. This on-call role suits someone seeking flexibility around school, family, or another position.

You will work with families of infants through toddlers, engage in age-appropriate activities, and travel to various homes as needed. Must be 18+, experienced with children, reliable transportation, and available 3+ weekdays 6–8 hours between 7am–7pm.

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children's age-appropriate development

• Pay: $18 per hour - $20 per hour per hour

About You

• At least 18 years old

• Reliable transportation
• Your willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
• You are available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
• Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor and a bright smile to greet each family!
