Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for full-time roles in our emergency response teams. The position offers an hourly rate starting at $21.50 plus DOE, with opportunities to provide basic and advanced patient care using defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, leading the Paramedic team on scenes, driving 911 responses, and collaborating with other health and safety professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver's License is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications are required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Operate medical equipment to provide advanced patient care.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care.
• Serve as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
