Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position. Hourly rates start at $21.50 plus DOE as you provide compassionate, high-quality basic and advanced patient care during 911 responses and patient relocations.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, applying paramedic protocols, using defibrillators and IV fluids, communicating with patients, leading the scene, and driving the ambulance. Required: State Paramedic License and a valid Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active State Paramedic License.
• Active State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine the best action following Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills with medical equipment to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage the scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
