Job summary

Henderson Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve daily living activities at our Henderson, NC center. The OT will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation and support clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active or eligible North Carolina OT license.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-first approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to safely assist patients during therapy sessions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve independence in daily living activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and continued care strategies.
• Promote a safe, effective, and positive rehabilitation environment.
