Job summary

Henderson Nursing and Senior Living Center seeks a compassionate licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will help implement care plans, guide residents through therapeutic activities, and promote recovery and mobility in a long-term care setting.

This PRN role offers a $1000 sign-on bonus. You will deliver therapy sessions, document progress, collaborate with therapists, nurses, families, and staff,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state license/registration as a COTA.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient movement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and exercises based on treatment plans created by the OT
• Assist residents with activities that support daily living and independence
• Accurately document therapy sessions and track patient progress
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and family members to support care goals
• Educate residents, families, and staff on at-home and restorative programs
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement programs
• Float to nearby facilities if needed based on patient needs
