Job summary

Wake Orthopaedics LLC in Cary, NC is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Technologist or Athletic Trainer to support a high-volume clinic. We offer a unique work environment that promotes personal and professional growth and a competitive salary with an excellent benefits package.

Primary duties include assisting providers, greeting patients, documenting triage in Epic, applying casts, fitting DME and educating patients, supporting medical assistants, and ensuring HIPAA/OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Certified Athletic Trainer credential and BOC certification or state licensure.
• NBCOT Orthopaedic Technologist Certification or ASOP registration is preferred or must be eligible within one year of hire.
• Proven ability to work in a high-volume clinical setting and maintain professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in delivering quality medical care.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room.
• Document triage and patient information in Epic.
• Apply and remove casts as ordered by provider.
• Fit patient with DME and educate on use.
• Assist medical assistants as needed with patient care.
• Follow HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
