Job summary

Target Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Associate Optometrist (OD) in Orlando to deliver high-quality eye and vision care. The OD will diagnose, treat and manage diseases of the visual system and lead clinical team efforts to support patient experience and growth of the practice.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited optometry degree, current licensure in the state, DPA/TPA certifications, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School or College of Optometry.
• Licensed to practice Optometry in the State of practice location.
• DPA and TPA certified.
• Knowledge of current Optometric technology and practices.
• Strong communication skills - verbal & listening.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality optometric care to patients.
• Establish a positive Doctor/Patient relationship.
• Conduct all services per clinical protocols.
• Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Utilize technology to deliver excellent patient experiences.
• Collaborate with store/practice team and Field Leadership.
• Maintain office quality systems.
• Maximize relationships through leadership and involvement.
• Provide training and guidance to team members.
• Strive to exceed KPI and performance expectations.
• Help maintain brand leadership in the community.
