Job summary

Panorama Eyecare in Windsor, CO is seeking an Optometric Technician to join our team. You will handle patient intake, assist doctors, and help ensure a smooth clinic flow while delivering an outstanding patient experience.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, clear communication, and a team-first attitude. Prior experience in a fast-paced medical office or EHR is preferred, and we offer growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced medical office and in electronic health record is preferred.
• Experience in optometry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Patient intake and workup, following standardized protocol and utilizing electronic health records.
• Assists Optometrists and patients with contact lens fittings.
• Patient counseling and education as needed.
• Monitor and manage patients' eye and vision issues during and after a visit, as directed by Optometrist.
• Updates daily schedule by assessing no-shows and add-ins.
• Assists in retails aspects of the office including eyecare products and eyewear.
• Helps with cleaning and stocking work areas including closing exam lanes and equipment at end of clinic.
• Maintains a professional demeanor, including dress and work conversation.
• Assists in resolution of patient complaints.
