EyeC Optometry in San Jose, CA seeks a dedicated Optometric Technician/Optician for a full-time on-site role. You will assist with patient intake, obtain histories, and prepare examination rooms and diagnostic equipment to support clinicians.

You will also guide patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses, while coordinating appointments and maintaining records. You will contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered environment and help deliver high-quality eye care with

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively with patients and team.
• Appointment scheduling and medical office skills to manage patient flow, documentation, and basic administrative tasks.
• Foundational optometry knowledge, including basic eye anatomy, common eye conditions, and diagnostic procedures.
• Skills in eyeglass and contact lens selection, fitting, and adjustments, with attention to accuracy and patient comfort.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail to support high-quality clinical operations.
• Previous experience as an optometric technician, optician, or in a medical office setting is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in optometry or optical dispensing is a plus.
