Eyetastic Services, LLC in San Jose, CA is seeking a full-time Optician with strong optical sales experience to join a patient-focused practice serving the Bay Area for over 50 years.

You will assist patients with frame and lens selection, quote and process VSP and Eyemed insurance, ensure precise fitting, maintain records, and contribute to a welcoming team environment with a competitive hourly wage and commissions.

Are you a motivated, experienced Optician looking to join a thriving, patient-focused practice? This private optometry office has been serving the Bay Area for over 50 years and continues to grow! They are seeking a full-time Optician with a proven track record in optical sales to join their outstanding team in San Jose, CA.

Job Description:

• Provide exceptional customer service and eyewear sales support to patients in a fast-paced, multi-doctor practice
• Accurately quote and process VSP and Eyemed insurance (VSP and Eyemed experience is a must)
• Guide patients through frame and lens selection, offering expert recommendations based on their needs and preferences
• Ensure precise fitting and adjustments of eyewear
• Maintain organized records and assist with inventory management
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to deliver a seamless patient experience

Schedule:

• Full-time, 4 days per week, alternating schedule for weekend coverage

Office Hours:

• Mon-Fri 10 am7 pm, Sat 9 am7 pm, Sun 11 am6 pm

Compensation:

• $20$35 per hour, depending on experience, plus commissions
