Minnesota Eye Consultants is hiring a full-time Ophthalmic Testing Assistant for our Blaine clinic. The role supports clinical flow by performing visual field and OCT testing, with starting pay of $18.50-$21.00/hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

The position may shift to other MEC locations as needed, and prior healthcare or patient-service experience is valued. PTO, holiday pay, and a 401K are offered as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months customer service experience required.
• Experience working in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient workups with preliminary and diagnostic testing including visual acuity, patient history, lensometry if needed, and visual fields.
• Facilitates efficient patient flow by monitoring schedules and addressing conflicts.
• Keeps work areas organized and participates in regular team meetings.
• Supports research projects when requested and pursues ongoing professional development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
