Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Thornton, CO is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to provide chemotherapy administration and direct patient care for oncology patients. You will work under a physician and contribute to treatment plans, patient education, and care coordination.

Requirements include RN license, BLS certification, and a minimum of two years nursing experience with oncology experience preferred; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum two years nursing experience; oncology experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administers chemotherapy, hydration and other medications under physician supervision.
• Maintains knowledge of chemotherapy reimbursement procedures and completes charge forms.
• Ensures pre-authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained before therapies.
• Documents nursing assessments and patient teaching in the chart.
• Triages patient phone calls and documents information in the chart.
