Job summary

Fortis Industries in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Full Time Custodian to support our contract at the Federal Courthouse and related facilities. This on-site role involves cleaning, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, setting up rooms, and securing premises across Fritz Lanham, the Courthouse, and the Parking Garage.

Responsibilities include following chemical safety rules, moving items as needed, and working with a team to meet daily tasks.

Qualifications

Must be able to perform tasks such as moving, carrying and storing items.
Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, reach, etc. as required for cleaning.
Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions.
Must be able to work with a team.
Must be reliable and willing to perform assigned daily tasks.
Must be able to work a schedule of 35 hours or more per week.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms using specific procedures and products.
Dust, polish, and wipe furniture.
Empty and wash garbage bins and deal with recycling procedures when necessary.
Vacuum flooring throughout facilities using upright or wide area vacuums.
Help when setting facilities for meetings, events, or classrooms.
Secure buildings and doors when they are not in use.
Following instructions regarding chemical use and safety hazards in the workplace.
