Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks full-time Flex Houseparents (couples) to live on campus, care for 8–13 students, and provide guidance, supervision, and support for their academic, emotional, and social development.

The two-person role requires living in student homes, following a nine-on / three-off schedule, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time. Benefits include housing, meals, and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or in mentorship roles.
• Able to supervise and guide students in daily routines.
• Ability to manage household schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students.
• Manage household routines, schedules, and student well-being.
• Lead on-site activities, devotions, and Sunday Chapel transportation.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
