Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents who are a married couple to live in on-campus homes and care for groups of 8–13 students. You will supervise daily routines, mentor students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development within a structured, family-like environment.

The position begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with possible transition to a placed houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
