Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Alexandria, VA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab team at Mount Vernon Healthcare Center. The OT will assess residents' needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy under physician orders.

The role offers a stable, growth-oriented environment with opportunities to supervise COTAs, collaborate in interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to resident-centered care across locations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid or pending state Occupational Therapy license.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Strong collaboration with rehab team and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans under physician orders.
• Implement treatment plans and educate treatment staff including therapists and team members.
• Provide supervision for COTAs.
• Attend/interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and recommendations to rehab team and families.
• Treat residents at Mount Vernon Healthcare Center and other locations as needed.
