Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Instructor (BSN Required) to join our accredited program. The instructor will teach courses across modalities, guide students, and support NCLEX preparation while upholding program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years teaching experience in the field.
• 3 years’ experience as a registered nurse.
• Active Indiana RN license that has never been encumbered.
• BSN required.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Must provide professional licenses and certifications for specialties and clinical compliance.
• Must adhere to faculty immunizations and provide proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in courses aligned with qualifications and expertise.
• Ensure instructional activities, contact hours, and delivery meet policies and accreditation standards.
• Maintain weekly office hours to support student learning and provide academic guidance.
• Demonstrate consistent instructional presence across modalities.
• Support student learning outcomes through curriculum implementation and assessment.
• Be accountable for NCLEX preparation throughout the program.
• Teach a full workload as full-time faculty; part-time faculty may teach up to 30 hours per week.
• Participate in quarterly professional development and campus meetings.
• Attend campus events and contribute to committees as designated by the Dean.
• Support new faculty onboarding and other duties as assigned.
