Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing – Indianapolis, IN seeks a dynamic BSN prepared Nurse to teach Full-Time at our Indianapolis Campus. In this role you will instruct students across classroom, lab and clinical settings, promote a positive learning environment, and collaborate to implement the curriculum.

The position emphasizes hands-on teaching, curriculum development, and student assessment, with opportunities to participate in faculty committees and continue professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required in line with DOE and state requirements.
• Three or more years of full-time RN work experience (or part-time equivalent).
• Active Indiana RN license with no encumbrances; ability to provide official transcripts; BLS certification.
• One year nursing lecturing experience strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the classroom, lab, and/or clinical setting.
• Promote a positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively to assure full implementation of the curriculum.
• Participate as members of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
• Recommend strategies for student success.
• Tutor students to assist in meeting course objectives.
• Implement the clinical experience component of the program, if applicable.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress and provide valuable feedback.
