Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in New York is seeking a Clinical Nursing Faculty to guide students through the full scope of the academic nurse educator role, including curriculum design, assessment, and program outcomes.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state and an MSN; BSN may be considered depending on campus needs, with a minimum of two years of RN clinical experience. Evening/weekend hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Active, current RN licensure in the applicable state.
• MSN required; BSN-prepared nurses may be considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Assess and evaluate student learning across cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains.
• Develop and implement curriculum and PSLOs; monitor program outcomes.
• Engage in scholarship, professional development, and leadership within the faculty.
• Maintain up-to-date nursing practice knowledge to prepare students for contemporary practice.
