Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. You will work within the unit and support the Nursing Team while upholding the facility's Service Excellence Standards.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, CNA or MA certification (or enrollment in a nursing program), BLS on hire, and being at least 18 years old. Experience in acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments as required by the facility.
• CNA certificate and/or MA certificate or enrollment in a nursing program.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
• Must be 18 years or older by hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent patient-centered care under RN or physician supervision.
• Participates as an active member of the Nursing Team on the unit.
• Supports the Service Excellence Standards for all customers.
