Job summary

Temple University Health System, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of RNs. You will perform tasks delegated to unlicensed staff and apply the hospital's Customer Service program to every interaction.

Responsibilities include assisting with routine activities, maintaining safety, and reporting to the Nurse Manager. A high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Nursing Assistant program are required; BLS is required; CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree required.
• 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role preferred.
• Basic Life Support required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing staff.
• Incorporate the hospital's Customer Service Program into all patient care activities.
• Be accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
