Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. is seeking a certified nursing assistant to provide safe, patient-centered care under the direction of registered nurses or physicians.

You will participate as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit and support a culture of Service Excellence. Qualified candidates include those with a CNA, EMT, or Medical Assistant certificate, or enrollment in LVN/ADN/BSN programs with fundamentals completed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA certificate required or enrolled in program.
• EMT certificate or Medical Assistant certificate acceptable.
• Current enrollment in LVN/ADN/BSN program with fundamentals completed.
• BLS certification (or obtained during orientation) required.
• De-escalation class within first year, site-based requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent patient-centered care under RN or physician supervision.
• Work as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department.
• Support a Service Excellence culture and adhere to Service Excellence Standards for all customers.

Education
