VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown, DE. This full-time role focuses on ambulatory care within a correctional setting, supervised by a licensed physician, with a team including security personnel.

Requirements include NP or PA degree, current state licenses, and at least 1 year in correctional settings or 3+ years in non-correctional practice; acute care experience preferred.

• Graduate of an accredited college/university NP or PA program
• Must possess current licenses or certifications in this state
• At least 1 year Experience in Correctional desired but not required or at least 3 years of NP experience in a non-correctional environment
• Acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• The NP/PA works with a variety of healthcare professionals/security officers in a correctional environment to provide basic medical services supervised by a licensed Physician. The NP/PA has no managerial responsibilities.

Nurse Practitioner Position Summary
