Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college/university NP/PA program.
• Must possess current licenses or certifications in this state (Massachusetts).
• Experience in Correctional desired but not required.
• MOUD/MAT experience preferred.

• Provide ambulatory care as NPs/PAs in a correctional setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and security officers to deliver basic medical services.
• Work under supervision of a licensed Physician; no managerial responsibilities.

NURSE PRACTITIONER POSITION PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT SUMMARY

The Nurse Practitioner utilizes the medical model to meet a variety of healthcare needs with ambulatory care as their primary focus. The Physician’s Assistant works with a variety of healthcare professionals/security officers in a correctional environment to provide basic medical services supervised by a licensed Physician. The PA has no managerial responsibilities.
