VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (Mid-Level Provider) at Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown, DE. The NP/PA will deliver ambula­tory care under supervision, collaborating with healthcare professionals and security staff within a correctional setting.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited NP/PA program and current DE licensure, with 1 year correctional experience or 3 years NP experience in non-correctional settings; acute care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Must possess current licenses or certifications in Delaware.
• At least 1 year experience in correctional settings or 3+ years of NP experience in a non-correctional environment.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic medical services in a correctional ambulatory setting under physician supervision.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and security officers in a correctional environment; no managerial duties.

NURSE PRACTITIONER POSITION SUMMARY

The Nurse Practitioner utilizes the medical model to meet a variety of healthcare needs with ambulatory care as their primary focus. The NP/PA works with a variety of healthcare professionals/security officers in a correctional environment to provide basic medical services supervised by a licensed Physician. The NP/PA has no managerial responsibilities.

NURSE PRACTITIONER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
