Qualifications

• Active unencumbered RN or LPN license in Colorado.
• Postsecondary CTE credential with 4000 paid non-teaching hours and 1 year nursing experience.
• Experience teaching adults or managing nurse aides.
• Proficient in Spanish and English.
• BLS certification required.
• Able to pass background check and urine drug screen.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic and clinical instruction to nursing students.
• Mentor and support diverse student populations in growth and education.
• Supervise students in a skills lab and during clinical rotations.
• Manage courses, complete evaluations and paperwork, and assist program operations.
• Contribute to curriculum design and program initiatives.
• Provide advisement and orientation; maintain course materials and files.
• Coordinate with community partners and department leadership; act as a professional role model.
